If you have a genuine interest in magic, you are welcome to apply for membership of The Society of Irish magicians. We invite you to be our guest at a meeting and experience an evening with Ireland’s oldest magic society.
We meet on the first Tuesday of every month in the city centre. Please contact our President or secretary to arrange the details.
New members will be asked to perform an introduction piece at a later meeting. Don’t worry. The audition process for all magic societies is really to establish your interest in the art and introduce you to the members. As a general guideline you should aim to perform your three favourite effects .You are not expected to impress, just show off.
Membership
On acceptance of your membership you will be required to pay an annual subscription, which covers all society meetings and lectures. The meetings begin at eight o’clock, with the junior meeting from seven.
