If you have a genuine interest in magic you are welcome to apply for membership in the Society of Irish Magicians. We invite you to visit as a guest for one meeting to see what an evening with Ireland's oldest Magic society entails.
As a courtesy, we ask you to contact our secretary or president to express your interest.
Subsequently, you will be required to perform a brief audition in front of our members. Don't worry. The audition process for all magic societies is really to establish that you have a genuine interest in the art. Most people in the audience will know how your tricks work so concentrate on the presentation. As a general guideline, you should aim to perform 3 tricks and aim to perform for 5 - 8 minutes. Ninety percent of applicants are accepted as members on their first audition.
